Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Kigali City Tour, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (2hrs)
In the morning, you will be picked from the hotel in Kigali or at the airport upon arrival and proceed for a city tour to the Genocide Memorial museum, and later transfer to Volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri. In the evening, we can go for a nature walk to the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Dinner & Overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse / Le bamboo Gorilla Lodge / Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Virunga Lodge / Bisate Lodge / Amahoro Guest House.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
In the morning, you will have a briefing at the headquarters before setting off for the adorable gorilla trek in the Virunga hills of Rwanda. Gorilla trekking may take 1 to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements in their natural environment. Enjoy an hour with the endangered gorillas, learn their human-like characteristics, take pictures, and enjoy this memorable encounter. Dinner & overnight at your lodge on DAY 1.
