This trip starts in Uganda (Entebbe) and ends in Rwanda (Kigali)

Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park; en route, stop at the equator for photographs and a cup of tea; lunch in Mbarara; and dinner and overnight at Mahogay Springs Lodge, Gorilla Mist Camp, Gorilla Valley Lodge, or Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge.

Breakfast and assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing and group allocation. Do not forget to carry a packed lunch, and it is highly advised to hire a porter to carry your camera gear.

The hike takes 2-6 hours, and you are allowed to stay with the gorillas for up to 1 hour.

Retire for lunch, then take a rest as we prepare for an evening excursion to the local communities (Batwa People), where you can participate in daily activities such as cooking, making local beer, milking, music, and dance.

Take a second gorilla trek with a visit to a different gorilla group, retire by afternoon for hot lunch and hit the road to Kigali, the Capital of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel, Mövenpick Kigali, or The Nest Kigali.

Breakfast and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kandt House Museum, Caplaki Handicrafts Co-operative for local crafts, or Ivuka Arts studios for contemporary art, among others. Depending on your flight schedule, we transfer you to the airport where the tour ends.
