Day 1: Pick up &travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in South Western Uganda. Stop at the equator for photographs and continue to Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch, reach Bwindi by late afternoon. In the evening you may relax at the lodge or go for a community walk where you will be entertained by some of the cultural dances of the Batwa community. Dinner and overnight at the Mahogany Springs / Gorilla Mist Camp / Buhoma community rest Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Adventure

Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience. You will have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before setting off to the forest in search of gorillas. The time taken searching these humble Giant apes is unpredictable, however, it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. You will spend an hour with the gorillas, learn about their behaviors, take pictures and enjoy this remarkable experience. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge(Day 1)

Day 3: Cross to Rwanda, Volcanoes National Park

Breakfast at the lodge and embark on a scenic drive to the home of mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. We can take an evening excursion to the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, later check-in Kwitonda Lodge, Bisate Lodge, Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge or Mountain Gorilla View Lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 4: Second gorilla trek – Ibyiwacu Community Tour

This is your day for another gorilla trek in Volcanoes National park Rwanda. Assemble at Kinigi park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. The trek starts at 8:00 am lasting for between 30 minutes to a full day depending on the location of gorillas and their speed of movement. In the evening, visit the Ibyiwacu community village to learn about Rwanda’s traditions, cultures, and briefs. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge (Day 3)

Day 5:Departure

After breakfast, checkout and drive through Kigali city connecting to Kigali airport for your connecting  flight
