6 Days Akagera - Nyungwe National park safari to Rwanda
Nyungwe National Park is a massive montane forest, located in southern Rwanda. It is the largest in Central Africa and has 13 species of primate including chimpanzee and large groups of Rwenzori colobus. Primate tracking is on steep slippery hillsides and viewing is unpredictable. About 300 bird species, orchids and butterflies are other attractions found in this forest. Nyungwe's biodiversity is astonishing by African standards and is one of the most endemic species-rich areas in Africa.
On the other hand, Akagera National Park is a big game area! Herds of elephant and buffalo emerge from the woodland to drink at the lakes, while lucky visitors might stumble across a leopard, a spotted hyena or even a stray lion. You will also see lots of Hippos, Zebras, Impalas, warthogs, buffalo, and Giraffes among others. The tour starts and ends in Kigali.
