ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will me your jungle safari guide, greet you, brief you about the Uganda Gorilla Safari, and thereafter, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest the home of gorillas. This ancient rainforest - one of the few in Africa to have flourished throughout the last Ice Age is home to half of the world's mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park has 90 mammal species, including 11 primates, of which the black-and-white colobus, with its lovely flowing white tail is prominent. The forest birding ranks with the best in Uganda, with 23 highly localized Albertine Rift endemics present. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhomma community Bandas

Day 2: Gorillas in the mist
An early morning breakfast is followed by a drive to Kinigi station - park headquarters for guide allocation and briefing on the Dos and Don'ts on encounter with mountain Gorillas. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins.  Hiking, trekking and tracking gorillas may take 2-5 hours, depending on their movements.  Sight and stay with the mountain Gorillas for one hour. Descend to your hotel for lunch. 
Evening entertainment by the Pygmies (Batwa). The Batwa were once recognized as the owners of the high montane forest. The men used to hunt, and collect honey and other forest products, which were exchanged for village goods, while the women gathered vegetables, mushrooms and fruits as well as working for local farming people.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma community Bandas.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Mbarara
After breakfast, we shall drive to Mbarara; evening entertainment by the Banyankole in Ekitaguriro. Overnight stay at Lake View Regency Hotel or Agip Motel

Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park (Game drive and Boat trip)
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park for a game drive and after noon boat trip. Dinner and overnight stay at Mantana camp or Rwonyo camp.

Day 5: Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala
Morning break fast and drive to Kampala wiht a stopover at the equator for photography, arriving in the after noon.
