4 Day Uganda Primates & Wildlife Safari to Kibale Forest-Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 1: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park.
Head to Kibale forest National Park and drive through Mubende town to Fort Portal. It's a 4-5 Hours
journey, and it takes you through farms, tea plantations, pine tree plantations and traditional homesteads to reach the town that is located amidst the mountains of the moon Fort portal. You will reach late in the afternoon and go visit the crater lakes regions near Ndali and later dine; you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the country. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge /Primates lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking/Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake up early morning and go search for chimpanzees in the Kibale forest and this will enable you see other primates like the colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Red tailed monkeys, the L'Hoest's monkeys, Bush babies and many more. You will move with a guide who will make your walk informative and productive making it interesting. The Guide will provide information on both flora and fauna.
Then return for lunch at your lodge, thereafter, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mt. Ranges. You will enjoy a game drive enroute where you will see animals like leopard, hyena, elephant, buffalo, Antelopes and the King of the Jungle Lion. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Jacana Lodge/Institute of ecology.
Day 3: Game drive and afternoon boat ride along Kazinga Channel
After a cup of tea / coffee in the morning, proceed for a Game viewing drive to catch up with the early risers and predator returning to their conceal outs. This drive will reward you with game like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, bush bucks, bush pigs, warthogs, antelopes and many more. You will retire from the game drive for full breakfast and then lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will then go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel where you will view Hippos, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles and water birds at a close range, including the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge / Jacana Lodge/Institute of ecology.
Day 4: Return to Kampala
This morning after break fast at your lodge, you will drive to Kyambura Gorge for another exciting primate tracking experience, later embark on our journey to Kampala, have a stop at the Equator for photographs and reach in the late after noon. Connect to Entebbe Airport where the tour Ends.
