3 Day wildlife Uganda safari to Lake Mburo National Park (LMNP)
SAFARI HIGHLIGHTS
The 3 days wildlife Safari, starts and ends in Kampala. The drive to Lake Mburo National Park takes 3-4 hours from Kampala. This safari provides the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Lake Mburo National Park, through tour activities such as game viewing, boat trips, sport fishing, primate trekking, Nature walks and bird watching among others.
Day 1: Kampala - Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to western with a brief stop at the Equator the only Park in Uganda with s fresh water Lake within. Dinner and over night at Rwonyo Campsites/Mihingo lodge /Arcadia Cottages.
Day 2: Full day tour activities in Lake Mburo National Park
After a cup of tea or coffee, start a game drive through LMNP, where you may see a variety of wild animals like Elands, Topi, Zebras, sitatunga antelope, Impalas, spotted hyenas, Leopards, Buffaloes and many more. Return for full breakfast.
After lunch, proceed for a boat trip in the afternoon along Lake Mburo, where you may see animals like Hippopotamuses and Crocodiles basking along the shores of the Lake Mburo. More still, bird lovers will also enjoy a variety of bird species that include; Cormorants, Pelicans, Black Crake, Fish Eagle, and the rare shoebill among others.
Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Campsites / Mihingo lodge /Arcadia Cottages.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, we set off to Rubanga forest for a Nature walk. Here, you come across a variety of primate species like Monkeys and Baboons, as well as bird species such as Crested Francolin, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, Lilac-breasted Roller, Marinco Sunbird, Chin-spot Batis, Blue-eared Starling, Black-bellied Bustard and the Southern Red Bishop. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Kampala.
