Day 1: Drive to Kibale Forest; Home to 13 primates species.
Head to Kibale National park via Mubende town to reach Fort Portal; a town located amidst the mountains of the moon. The journey takes you through farms, tea plantations, pine tree plantations and traditional homesteads. Lunch at Ndali Lodge and visit the crater lakes regions nearby, later dine; you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the country. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge /Primates lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking.
Wake up early morning and go search for chimpanzees in the Kibale forest. Expect to see other primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, Olive baboons, Red tailed monkeys, the L'Hoest's monkeys, Bush-babies and many more. The Guide will provide information on both flora and fauna. Then return for lunch, relax and by late afternoon, go for a walk to Bigodi sanctuary for plenty of birds and rare fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge /Primates lodge.
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala.
Have breakfast and drive back to Kampala through Kasese, Queen Elizabeth national park, Lake Mburo national park and enroute stop at the equator for photographs.
