MurchisonFalls National Park - 3 Days Camping Safari Itinerary:
Murchison Falls National Park is one of the most spectacular parks in Uganda, and indeed in the whole of Africa. This is Uganda's largest National park with 3,840km2 and has the most intense concentration of animals along the river. Here is the awe-inspiring Murchison Falls, where the River Nile forces itself through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40mts in one breathtaking leap. The Murchison Falls National Park, with its variety of vegetation ranging from riparian forests and swamp lands to broad savannah, provides the opportunity of seeing many of the animals found in Uganda. In the southern section of the park is the beautiful Rabongo Forest, home to several families of chimpanzees and other primates.
Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park
Set off early morning after breakfast, drive north-west through Masindi town to Murchison Falls National Park, arrive by afternoon, have picnic lunch at a breath taking site; the top of the falls. Return to your luxury Camp at the Top of the falls for a sundowner. Enjoy dinner by candlelight under the stars and afterwards, lose yourself in the fascinating sounds of the night as you sit around a cracking camp fire. Camp at the Top of the Falls.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Trip - Camping at the Top of the Falls
Early morning after a cup of tea / coffee, go game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts, view animals like Hartebeests , Lions, herds of Buffaloes, Rothschild's giraffe, Waterbucks, Elephants, Oribis, Kobs and many others. Return for late/full breakfast and relax as we wait for lunch. Take a boat trip along the Victoria Nile after lunch to the bottom of the falls, experience close quarter with many Hippos basking by the Nile bank, huge Nile crocodile incubating eggs, about 450 birds species and the magnificent falls. Return to camp for a barbeque dinner and enjoy some captivating folklore at the camp fire. Overnight at Camp at the Top of the falls.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking - Kampala
Go for Chimpanzee tracking at Kaniyo Pabidi forest reserve after breakfast.The sounds of the chimps carry through the forest, so approaching and watching these creatures in their natural habitat is a fantastic wildlife viewing experience. After, you will return to Kampala.
